Delhi High Court allows Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to construct Chattarpur metro station whih was scheduled to be commissioned in January 2010 in view of the Commonwealth Game.

Lifting the stay on the construction of metro station, Justice Vikramjit Sen and Justice V K Jain refused to interfere with the decision taken by the experts by selecting the land at Mehrauli village for construction of a metro rail station.

Bench said, We cannot sit in judgement over the location selected by DMRC and cannot interfere with the decision taken by the experts. Selection of location is a matter exclusively in the domain of experts and should continue to rest with them.
